Prerequiste: Basic Reflexology Training
Most people associate reflexology with pressure points found in the foot. However, hand reflexology has also been used as part of medical care as far back as Egyptian times. In fact, research has shown hand reflexology to be as effective as foot reflexology, with the added benefit of being more easily accessible.
The popularity of hand reflexology has grown with the increase in new stresses technology has placed on our hands (ie. keyboarding, texting, video games, smart phones). This workshop will address self-care for the hands for these, as well as other overuse patterns (ie. massage). Included will be Activate Isolated Stretches (AIS) for the forearm, wrists and hands. In addition, you will learn to apply a full hand reflexology session for self and others, to help relax, restore, energize and balance the entire body.
